  • Yes. Donors will receive a written acknowledgment or receipt for their contribution. Receipts include the Foundation’s name, EIN, contribution amount, contribution date, and required IRS language regarding whether goods or services were provided.

  • This means the donor did not receive anything of monetary value in exchange for the contribution. For standard charitable donations, receipts will generally state:

    “No goods or services were provided in exchange for this contribution.”

    If a donor receives merchandise, event tickets, meals, or another item of value, the receipt language may be different.

    The Foundation supports individuals engaged in fire protection services, the broader public safety community, their families, and other applicants deemed appropriate by the Board when consistent with the Foundation’s charitable purpose.

  • Yes. Donors may request that a gift be made in honor or memory of someone, or designated for a specific purpose such as scholarships, hardship assistance, emergency support, or a memorial fund.

    All restricted or designated gifts are subject to review and acceptance by the Board of Directors to ensure the gift aligns with the Foundation’s charitable mission and can be properly administered.
